Chana Baum is a deepcover Mossad agent who has recently graduated medical school and is a member of Doctors Without Borders. This allows her to enter regions she would otherwise not be allowed to enter.
Baum is a native-born Israeli. Her parents, who live near Tel Aviv, were originally from the US and France. She has three older brothers. She has several nieces and nephews. Her family thinks she is simply a doctor who, due to the intensely competitive medical market in Israel, has opted to join Doctors Without Borders to "make a difference."
