Deviations from The Show
While I've tried to leave as much of the Show's structural elements intact as I can tolerate, not everything will appear in the campaign as depicted. Some key considerations:
- Correct Cretaceous land-masses (not Pangea); see TBD
- "Made-up" dinosaurs from the Show will be replaced with appropriate species; see TBD
- Campaign will instead be set at 70mya ±5mya (the Show was ~85mya)
- The Show's canonical timeline is in effect, though some of the details will differ
- The post-Show comic-book will not be considered canonical (but some elements may get used)
- Addition of the GCPA (Global Climate and Population Administration) governing body, which runs Hope Plaza operations
- "Homeline"/"Backline" replaces the Show's "Twentyone-Fourtynine" reference (which is out-of-date at this point anyway)
Additions
- This campaign exists as an alternate-reality within the Daniverse; standard Daniverse elements will apply.
- What was once the United States is now the United Commonwealth, which is, practically, a one-world-government (see above)

Public Knowledge
There are a lot of facts about the Terra Nova situation that are revealed to watchers of the Show, but are not necessarily known to the average Commonwealth citizen.
Known
- Hope Plaza was hit by a "terrorist attack," requiring it to be shut down for repairs for ~a year
Unknown
- Hope Plaza was forcibly taken over by Riko/Phoenix Group
- Hope Plaza was hit by a bomb by someone (Jim Shannon) from Terra Nova to prevent Riko from using it to move materiel Homeline or support Phoenix Group
- The Probe was destroyed/disabled during the Riko/PG assault, meaning the public declaration that the Fracture opened to an "alternate timeline" is false (or no longer "proven true")
- Communication through the Portal can be done on-demand (known only to 6ers, Riko, Phoenix Group, and a few command-level Terra Novans)
- Portal can be made to go both ways (known only to 6ers, Riko, Phoenix Group, and a few command-level Terra Novans)
