Details
Came to the region in early 1875 from Virginia with a husband, Warren, who died of appendicitis. With the sudden loss of support, she turned to prostitution to make ends meet, as lone women on the frontier often do, and developed a "talent" for it. She came to work for Tilly Darnell at her Gentlemens' Establishment in early 1876, and quickly became her second-in-command. She stayed on when the work started to dry up after the California Investors sold out, and has been one of the handful of girls remaining thus far.
