Chris was a block-kid in NYC like so many others, scraping by, until he caught his big break into corporate life, working for a small investment company at the ground-floor, as a mailroom clerk. He worked hard to impress management, for a few years, but competition for higher-paying positions is fierce, and wasn't able to break out of the lower level.
