Background
- Born in a crappy part of town to a single mom. Had (notice the tense) 3 sisters.
- Ended up in a gang. Was a computer nerd but he was their nerd. They did a bit of cybercrime.
- Hacked what he thought was a legit bloodbank. Also thought he covered his trail. Spoiler: he didn't.
- Vamps visited his family first, then the gang. Butchered (or potentially Turned some of them, depending on GM) them all.
- Jamal was running away when he was "killed." His last memory is of a white dude wearing an old timey (1940s) suit getting out of a car and looking at him.
- Woke up elsewhere, still in his bloody clothes but with no injuries. White dude intro's himself as "Nathaniel Hawthorne." He's an Immortal (~270 years, so he fought in American Revolution) and so is Jamal.
- Jamal thought it was all BS at first but now, after more than five years of hardcore training, he knows: vampires are real ... they're real and they killed his mom and sisters. So he's going to kill them all in revenge. All of them.
- His mentor may think he's a little crazy, wasting time on the suckheads, and is hoping he'll grow out of this phase.
