  • John Hayden met Captain James Button of the Fortune, told the Cardinal Virtue was taken by the Spanish near New Providence sometime around the invasion of Nassau
  • Helped Furlong's "acquaintance" Rufus "Shifty" Law flee town, who was later turned in for reward & hanged
