Came to the region in early 1875 from Virginia with a husband, Warren, who died of appendicitis. With the sudden loss of support, she turned to prostitution to make ends meet, as women on the frontier often do. She came to work for Tilly Darnell at her Gentlemens' Establishment in early 1876, and effectively became her second-in-command over time. Stayed on when the work started to dry up after the California Investors sold out, and has been one of the handful of girls remaining thus far.
