Details

Served for years aboard the Providence, ultimately as its first-leftenant under Captain Gibbs. Retired from the Royal Navy due to his terminal condition. John has cancer with less than 2 years to live. To deal with the pain of his condition John turned to opium, leading to a dependency. Through a strange sense of honour and desire to leave behind an untarnished legacy, John, chose to retire with dignity before his condition forced a pitiful exit from the organisation he's served since 12. The Admiralty promoted him to Commander as a courtesy before releasing him.
