Spring Court

The Spring Court is one of the Faerie Courts, ruling over part of Faerie in the Nevernever. It is ruled by the three Spring Queens.

Faeries allied with the Spring Court are, among others, termed Spring Sidhe, or Springfae.

Order

The Spring Court is ruled by the three Spring Queens: Mother Spring, Spring Queen, and Spring Lady. It also keeps a mortal champion, the Spring Knight.

Mother Spring

Mother Spring was the oldest of the three Winter Queens. She was Known as The Queen Who Was, was the previous holder of the title Winter Queen and was sometimes mother of the current one. She was not referred to by name but by her position. Mother Spring was killed by the Winter Lady, Mab, during the Sidhe War.

Spring Queen

The Spring Queen is the ruler of the Spring Court and is known as The Queen Who Is, she was the former Spring Lady, and will be the future Mother Spring. The current Spring Queen is Brigid, who is known to have been one of the Tuatha Dé Danann.

Spring Lady

The Spring Lady is the youngest of the three Spring Queens. She is known as The Queen Who Is To Come, and is the future Spring Queen. The current Spring Lady is Flidais, who is known to have been one of the Tuatha Dé Danann.

Spring Knight

The Spring Knight is a mortal chosen as the champion of the Spring Court. The power of the Mantle comes from the Queen. The identity of the current Spring Knight is unknown.
