Somewhere in the Inner Sea lies the Isle of Whispers, a sacred island bound up with elven tradition and protected under the Inner Sea's boundary law. It is revered and closely kept; outsiders are not welcome there, and what the island holds or means is not a thing the elves explain to those who are not of their people.

To the rest of the region it is a name spoken with a little caution — a holy place, behind a closed door, in waters that are not theirs to enter.
