Commander of a rogue Roman century, he is Marcus's Enemy and will not stop until he has avenged himself upon the younger man. Severus is responsible for the sacking of both Caer Tarian and Vertis while the warriors were away during the "Treachery of Long Knives."
He was believed slain during the battle between his Romans and the warband from Bryn Euryn on Samhain, 456, along with his hated enemy, Marcus, but as Marcus survived, there is no reason to presume Quintus did not as well.
